Since the update all this app does is sit on my iPad and act as though it is installing but its really notIt just sits there and spins and spins I thought that maybe I could uninstall the app and then reinstall itIt wont let me delete it off my iPad and when I go to the App Store to see what the problem is I see the cloud so I try to redo load and reinstall from there and it looks like its working but at the end of the install it just sits there and spins and spins just like this reviewthats why as of now I give it Zero starsSorry I call it like I see itBut unfortunately I have to choose at least One Star so there you go     Spins and Spins
For 17 months now Not available I call comcast xfinity On hold for over an hour talk to 4 people Finally after saying yes its available they will add the code The code doesnt work so the person says I dont know I guess its not available Oh it will be available by the end of February 2015 Now September 4 2015 STILL says not available I live in Ann Arbor Michigan The only carrier is comcast I have had X1 for over 2years When will this app work     Doesnt work
I use this app regularly to stream content to TVs in my house that do not have a cable box Works very well however the accompanying Apple Watch app that appears to be very cool interface does not work at all in controlling my X1 set top boxes The Comcast TV remote app on my iPhone controls these X1 systems fine           Watch app does not work

After the update app shows two identical devices registered I cant access the old one to check back in recorded shows so they are lost to the ether        Update will disappear your recordings

Ive seen a few bad reviews on here and they are all true I had shows downloaded to the app and after the update they are gone My X1 cable box thinks the shows are on my iPad but they are not They are no where to be found and CANNOT be returned to the television To further frustrate me I cant even watch them On Demand The cable box seems to know its on my IPad which it is not so it wont let me order the On Demand version I am stuck not being able to watch episodes of shows which are right in the middle of their series For instance I cant watch episode 4 of Mr Robot so will I have to stop watching the entire season This is beyond unprofessional and they have taken away my ability to watch shows that should be free DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS UPDATE     Completely messed up this app

Forget about downloading if you want to watch shows using cellular data Even when you go to menu settings and choose to use cellular data it wont let you Wifi only     Can only watch over wifi

I have xfinity and X11 service Installed app but could not add iPad device to service Called Comcast They transferred me 3 times to the tech support guys that really know Finally gave up and uninstalled     Doesnt Work
This is a great application in the few occasions it works thats less than 10 of the time Sound cuts out every 5 seconds for 1second making the viewing of recordings unless     Has great potential but very poor application

Ive had issues with this app before First people it has to be available in your area 2nd you need to have X1 boxes Then you have to call X1 division and get it turned on then log in and go for it I watch everything on my ever at work Was just watching judge Judy on train I dont know why people have so much trouble with this app its the best thing since apple pie If you cant get it to work open a case with comcast They will fix it Its the best app ever made Comcast rules                 Comcast rocks
I downloaded 2 shows to my iPad from my recordings I then chose to update app Mistake Now my cable box thinks the shows are on my iPad but my iPad shows no downloaded shows Ive tried deleting app resetting cable box changing households and manage download devices shows my iPad but I cant select it or anything How this escaped QA I have no idea App or box needs a global reset in regards to downloads Shouldnt be this hard     Update put my downloaded recordings into a void

If I didnt despise their customer service more than I do this app I would call and ask for money back because we are essentially paying extra for this app Downloads are very slow I can deal with it but in playback they skip every 6th second on a current gen iPad Clunky and slow     Par for the Comcast course
Update 91915 It finally stopped recognizing that I have an X1 account Its not the app because their web site doesnt recognize the fact that I have an X1 account either Its Comcastic Original review below Sometimes it works sometimes it doesnt Sometimes I can set up recordings Sometimes I cant Sometimes it cant even tell its on my home Comcast provided network Performance is mixed Lots of video artifacts when streaming and lots of stuttering both video and sound I dont know if its Comcasts app or Comcasts network equipment I havent been able to try downloading recordings because it cant download while streaming and I have yet to figure out how to make it stop streaming once youve started Having to send a downloaded recording back to the box to watch it elsewhere seems needlessly convoluted though so maybe its for the best that I cant get it to work Either way its pretty much what I expect from Comcast     Ok when it works
First let me complain about Comcast For all the things apple does right for its customers Comcast does wrong Wrong number listed on the app when it would not install It should be 8775991844 If you call 1800Comcast you will be sent to voice activation hell and inevitably sent to the wrong desk and they all ask you the same info The app asked me to log on and then told me Xfinity was available Well no jokeI AM A SUBSCRIBER When it would not initialize I had to call and right now am on my third call for nearly an hour trying to reach someone While on hold on the number above it disconnected me inexplicably It was error code 13001 So in sum the app did not work and link up to my account and then I could not find a customer service rep to fix it Typical Comcast     Proceed with caution

We just got X1 box a week ago downloaded Xfinity TV app App says this service is available I our area but our iPad mini will not connect An Error code 13001 came up and said to call Xfinity I have been bounced around from various departments twice this weekend when I first called and after holding for 30 mins I hung up As I am typing this I am on hold to speak to the 3rd person Update the last person I spoke with knew what he was doing He said my X1 box was coded incorrectly and he fixed it He had us log in and we were connected Hopefully all will go smoothly as I explore this app further I told him it seemed like employees should have a list of error codes and know what they meant     Error Code 13001 Comcast service terrible
