Great to have as a backup to map compass or if a GPS battery dies Converting from land navigation to nautical navigation was simple and verifying the apps data as accurate was proven when compared to the radar and chart plotters readings Tremendous The one drawback is the maps being aerial and not topo When in vegetation that doesnt help but one should be out there with a hard copy anyway Outstanding App

I rate this app 499 I cant give it a 5 since it does not have offline maps When Im offline I use iHike app since it has offline maps I use this app when I have cell service which is a lot of the time Its got a simple and effective user interface Very well done Great GPS App
Just got back from JRTC rotation 1506 and for a medic that needed to get around the drop zone and the battlefield quickly to treatEVAC real world and notional casualties this app was on point ever time The map manipulation is quick and when we compared the location accuracy to our issued equipment it was within a 4m x 4m area Works in the box with Verizon

I use this app all the time and its a great convenient and easy to use tool for getting MGRS grids The only drawback is there doesnt seem to be a way to export waypoints so they can he pulled into a different computer app Great App needs export feature
I am totally impressed with this app I use it for search and rescue operations and it is an amazing piece of equipment You do not even need to be on cell towers for this to work This is a valuable asset for anyone out there who needs this kind of information This app could save your life Literally WOW no tower necessary

Ive seen more user friendly apps for earlier versions of the OS But it isnt bad Its OK
I love the app but it is missing the ability to draw an area on an overlay This would be great for drop zones hazard areas etc Also needs a way to measure distance without creating points you dont want to save Like a measure tool that can be placed and dragged to get a measurement Great app by missing key feature
This is a good app for plotting a location on a grid map It would be a lot better with improved navigation to the point you are plotting For being 1000 I would expect a decent navigation feature Good app
Good app but it could use some tweaks 1 The waypoint data on the location screen is way too big Some of this area could be used for other items 2 The waypoint data on the map screen is too small and blurry hard to read Aside from these two issues I find this to be a good app that does everything it says If these minor tweaks are made Ill ammend this 4 star rating and give it a 5 star for sure Please continue to update this app and make it even better Its going to sell BIG if it keeps getting these good ratings Good but

Amazing app I purchased this app with some skepticism in mind but quickly found that it outperformed the GPS equipment I was issued during recent tactical training operations It is extremely easy to use highly functional easy to read and navigating with this app is better than anything Ive seen yet Without a doubt the best 999 I have spent to date MilGPS is on point
I am in the military this is an outstanding app It beats having to get satellite imagery from your Intell section However the downside is that you cannot plot a route or draw an overlay Impressive App
Two thumbs up This app might possibly be more accurate than a DAGR Ive confirmed land nav points with it and it has been spot on Better than DAGR

As mentioned before a map and compass cant be beat since it doesnt require batteries or a GPS signal but in a pinch this works beautifully I compared it sidebyside with a military DAGR and it was spot on My only suggestion for the developer would be to add an option for your current location on the map to be changed from a generic dot to a current heading arrow Awesome
